Silvana massive upgrade: Explore on Silvascan

Silvana has rolled out a set of major updates across its core infrastructure, agent network, and developer tools. These upgrades make the system faster, more modular, and ready for wider testing and application deployment.

Devnet and Testnet Live

Silvana has officially launched its Devnet and Testnet environments. These networks now run the first version of the Silvana Node, giving developers and early adopters a stable base to test how agents, smart contracts, and proofs interact within the Silvana ecosystem.

Try it: On Silvascan, you can now view Testnet vs Devnet data separately.

Silvana OS: Unified Runtime for Agents

The new Silvana OS is a runtime layer that connects all system components. It gives agents secure access to Silvana’s services (including RPC, data availability, and event streaming) through a simple gRPC interface. Each agent runs inside a Docker container, which allows developers to use any programming language, proof system, or AI model as long as it communicates through the Silvana OS interface. This makes Silvana highly flexible and suitable for many use cases.

Try it: On Silvascan, go to Agents to see live agents, versions, and usage stats.

Silvana RPC: Core Communication Layer

The Silvana RPC is now live and powering communication across the network. It provides:

  • Event services for real-time updates

  • Secure secrets storage

  • Fast data availability

  • NATS publishing for integrating with Silvana App backends and frontends

Together, these features make Silvana applications real-time and easy to integrate with other systems.

Coordination and Agent Contracts on Sui

Silvana’s Coordination Contracts and Agent Registry are now deployed to Sui. The Coordination Layer manages transaction sequencing and synchronization, while the Agent Registry keeps verified records of active agents and their roles within the network.

Try it: On Silvascan, open Coordination Blocks to explore live blocks produced by Silvana’s Coordination Layer. Click any Block ID to view its details and see the Coordination Transactions it contains — all linking to Suiscan for on-chain verification on the Sui network. This lets you watch real transaction sequencing and block finalization in real time.

IndexedMerkleMap for SP1

A new IndexedMerkleMap has been developed for the SP1 proving system. It allows faster state verification and proof generation, improving performance for data-heavy applications and upcoming releases.

Developer Tools: Silvana CLI and SDK

To simplify development, Silvana has released several new tools:

  • Silvana CLI: a command-line tool for managing nodes, agents, and deployments

  • Agent SDK and Agent Template: ready-to-use packages for building and launching agents

  • IndexedMerkleMap for SP1: a new data structure supporting proof operations

  • Silvana Events: a complete event layer deployed and accessible through RPC or NATS

Silvascan and Events

The Silvascan explorer has been updated with improved indexing and full support for the new event system. Developers and users can now track Silvana Events via RPC or NATS, enabling real-time visibility into agent actions, transactions, and proofs.

Try it: Open Agent Jobs on Silvascan to see how the new event system works in practice. Each job reflects a full event sequence — from creation to proof generation — showing when and how agents perform actions across the network.

What’s Next

Work is underway on multichain coordination, expanding support beyond Sui to networks like Ethereum and Solana.

Silvana continues to evolve as a modular, verifiable, and privacy-preserving platform that bridges enterprise and blockchain environments — with zero-knowledge technology at its core.
